Engineer: Andrew A. Conductor: Clint L. M2 is a type of "railroad speeder" or "motorcar". It and many like it were once used by railroads all around the country to do track maintence, and inspection. Did you ever wonder how some speeders are turned around on a railroad? Many speeders today have built in turntables as seen here in this video of a crew turning their car in our Niles yard earlier this year. Originally, many smaller cars were just turned using handles built into the car and pure human strength.
